CI Financial reports assets under management for November 2018

TORONTO (December 3, 2018) − CI Financial Corp. (“CI”) (TSX: CIX) today reported preliminary assets under management at November 30, 2018 of $130.2 billion and total assets of $173.2 billion.

Assets under management increased by 0.3% in the month of November and decreased by 9.6% year over year. Total assets experienced a 0.5% increase through the month of November and decreased by 7.2% for the 12-month period.

CI’s average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $131.1 billion, versus $138.3 billion for the third quarter of 2018. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $138.3 billion, a gain of $12.0 billion or 9.5% from the average for fiscal 2017.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $43.0 billion at November 30, 2018, representing an increase of $0.5 billion or 1.2% year over year.
