CI Financial reports assets under management for April 2019

TORONTO (May 1, 2019) - CI Financial Corp. (“CI”) (TSX: CIX) today reported preliminary assets under management at April 30, 2019 of $133.2 billion and total assets of $179.8 billion.

Assets under management increased by 1.4% in the month of April. CI's average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $132.9 billion, an increase of 3.1%, or $4 billion versus $128.9 billion for the first quarter of 2019.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd., Stonegate Private Counsel and WealthBar Financial Services Inc. of $46.6 billion at April 30, 2019, representing an increase of 2.2% in the month of April and an 8.9% increase year over year. WealthBar assets are now included as the firm was acquired by CI in the first quarter of 2019.
