Bradley R. Hicks
Brad Hicks leads CI Global Asset Management’s institutional business and oversees a team of professionals responsible for business development, client service, consultant relations and marketing.
Prior to joining CI GAM in May 2020, Brad was Managing Director and Co-Head of Distribution for MFS Investment Management in Canada. In that capacity, he led business development and relationship management with strategic distribution platforms, including insurance companies, DC record-keepers and sub-advisory partnerships. Prior to MFS acquiring McLean Budden in 2011, Brad progressed through increasingly senior roles at McLean Budden and maintained a broad institutional client base as a Vice-President and Partner of the firm.
Brad holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is registered as an Advising Representative with regulators across Canada.
Bran Kalmar, CFA
As a senior member of the Institutional team, Bran Kalmar is responsible for strategic initiatives, institutional business development and key relationship management across consultants and professional buyers, both in domestic and global markets.
Prior to joining CI GAM in October 2020, Bran was Director, Investment Product Specialist for MFS Investment Management, based in Canada. In his role Bran interacted with the institutional market primarily domestically, as well as internationally, covering direct asset owners, professional buyers and sovereign wealth funds.
Bran holds an Honours Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree from York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
Terry Krinsky, CIM
Terry Krinsky joined the Institutional team in 2015 and has over 18 years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry. Terry is responsible for client service and business development for pension, endowment and foundation clients across Canada.
Prior to joining the Institutional team, Terry spent four years as an Associate with Aon Hewitt’s Investment Consulting practice, where he focused on performance monitoring, investment option reviews and manager research reports for defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, endowments and foundations.
Terry holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and graduated from the Marketing & Communications program from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Matthew Glossop, CFA
Matthew began his career in client services at CI Global Asset Management in 2014 and later joined the Institutional team in 2015.
Matthew is responsible for servicing and further developing relationships with leading financial intermediaries. His accounts include Canadian financial institutions, primarily banks, and insurance companies.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and English from the University of Toronto.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Verede Bendavid, ASA, CFA
Verede Bendavid joined the Institutional team in 2017 and has over 14 years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry. Verede is responsible for client service and business development for clients across Quebec and Eastern Canada.
Prior to joining the Institutional team, Verede worked for 11 years with Mercer Investment Consulting practice where she focused on asset liability management, performance monitoring, investment structure reviews and manager research reports.
Verede graduated from the University of Montreal with a Bachelor in Actuarial Science. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
Sara Loriot, CFA
Sara Loriot is responsible for servicing and developing relationships with the consultant community across Canada.
Her career in the Canadian financial services industry began in 2008 and she joined CI Global Asset Management in 2020.
Prior to joining the Institutional team, Sara worked at Refinitiv (formerly Thomson Reuters Financial & Risk division) where she provided consulting for financial market data products and solutions to buyside firms in Ontario. Previously, she worked at Fidelity Investments Canada in institutional product development and in relationship management.
Sara holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the John-Molson School of Business at Concordia University, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification.
William Blanco
William Blanco joined CI Global Asset Management full-time in 2019 upon completion of an eight-month internship with the Institutional Product & Marketing team.
He is responsible for the completion of marketing materials, client reporting and product analysis, along with assisting in client service and business development efforts for existing and prospective institutional clients.
William holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Sandip Chowdhury
Sandip joined the Institutional team at CI Global Asset Management in 2018.
He is responsible for the completion of marketing materials, client reporting and product analysis, along with assisting in client service and business development efforts for existing and prospective institutional clients.
Prior to joining CI GAM, Sandip was an associate investment advisor at HollisWealth.
Sandip holds a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science from Western University. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 2 candidate.
