Nirujan Kanagasingam, CFA
As Vice-President of ETF Strategy, Nirujan’s primary responsibility includes working with the various departments within CI GAM to set and execute the ETF Sales Strategy and help promote the growth of the ETF business. Nirujan’s responsibilities also includes overseeing the ETF Sales Support team where he works alongside the sales team in assisting investors and advisors on ETF education and support. Nirujan brings a wealth of ETF knowledge, including ETF product management, indexing, factor research, ETF portfolio development, and has been involved in the launch of many ETFs in the Canadian marketplace. Prior to joining CI GAM, Nirujan held progressively senior roles with global asset managers Invesco and Horizons ETFs, where responsibilities included product management, product development and sales strategy in both the Canadian and U.S market. Nirujan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Accounting) from Ryerson University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Craig Allardyce
Craig Allardyce is a Portfolio Manager at CI First Asset Investment Management responsible for the fixed income and emerging market strategies of CI First Asset's Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
Craig has over 20 years of fixed income experience including portfolio management, sales and trading, and interdealer brokerage. Prior to joining CI First Asset, Craig was Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Matrix Fund Management Inc., where he was responsible for economic and credit research, investment strategy and trading.
Lijon Geeverghese, CFA
Lijon Geeverghese joined CI First Asset in 2014 and is responsible for the index-based strategies of CI First Asset's exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Lijon has over 10 years of ETF experience, including portfolio management, ETF trading and market making. Prior to joining CI First Asset, Lijon was responsible for ETF market making at a large Canadian bank dealer. Lijon is a key point of contact between CI First Asset and the market-making community, providing trade solutions for investment advisors and facilitating effective client ETF transactions. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
George Lagoudakis, CFA
George Lagoudakis has more than 12 years of experience as an institutional derivatives trader and strategist, having worked at a large Canadian bank-owned asset manager prior to joining CI First Asset in 2015. George graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Stephen Lingard, MBA, CFA
Stephen has more than 24 years of industry experience, including more than a decade as a senior portfolio manager at another diversified global asset manager, where he managed multi-asset portfolio programs. For most of his career, Stephen has specialized in tactical asset allocation research, investment strategy selection, manager oversight, portfolio construction and risk management. He also has related investment experience in Europe, Asia and the United States. Stephen holds a bachelor of science degree from Western University, an MBA from EU Business School, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
